GUIDELINES SUBMISSION:

- You can nominate yourself, or
people you know, living or dead.
- Send your or his/her winning
list and registration, as well as your name and your relation to the
person to our email: internationalcinemasociety@gmail.com
- Submission with film or
documentary is required, including for the general category that is
open the filmmaker him or herself.
- The Festival accept lifetime film or
documentary and from any genre.
- For Lifetime Achievement Awards
submitter, CV and other supporting documentation or related
information like photos, clipping, or other films title (from the
same filmmaker) are strongly suggested.
- Films
submitted could be from any genre and do not have any premiere
requirement.

Non-English speaking film/documentary should be translated in
English or dubbed.
CATEGORIES:
- General
The submitter may submit him or
herself or another filmmaker he/she knows. Submission for this
category is for the filmmaker in his/her leading reputation
(director, producer, artist, special effect artist, writer, film
musician, etc.). Submission must be completed with his or her
film/documentary.
- Short Documentary
A documentary film with a maximum
length of 49 minutes.
- Documentary Feature
A documentary with a minimum
runtime of 50 minutes. \
- International Feature film
A narrative feature film with
duration > 50 minutes.
- International Short film
A short narrative film with film
duration <50 minutes.
- Emerging Filmmaker
This category opens for newcomer
or students who have won awards for his or her first film.
Submission must be completed with his or her film/documentary.
Awards Type Categories:
1. Achievement Award
2. High Achievement Award
3. Highest Achievement Award
These three above categories
are open for films that have previously received recognition.
The Festival also accept the first-time filmmaker with an
extraordinary winning list from other Film Festival.
Newcomers are encouraged to enter into the Emerging Filmmaker
category.
Winners from these three above categories will receive a
well-framed certificate of acknowledgment, special pin, and
handmade sash if they attend the Awards Ceremony in person. Award recipient who can’t attend the Awards Ceremony will
receive e-certificate after the Festival Event (latest one month
after the Event).
TO ENTER INTO 1, or 2, or 3 type
Awards Category above, please submit below. Submission could be
a film or a person.
Submission fee: US $150
4. Lifetime Achievement Award
This Award Category opens
only for a filmmaker with an excellent reputation in the film
industry, or with at least having a regional reputation, or a
seasoned or well-known filmmaker with a minimum of 7 years
experience in the film industry or film education. The winner of
this category will receive a special trophy, pin, and handmade
sash if they attend the Awards Ceremony in person.
CV and other supporting documentation or related information
like photos, clipping, or other films title (from the same
filmmaker) are strongly suggested for this category.
Lifetime Achievement Award
winner will receive a
trophy of acknowledgment, special pin, and
handmade sash if they attend the Awards Ceremony in person. Award recipient who can’t attend the Awards Ceremony will
receive e-certificate after the Festival Event (latest one month
after the Event).

Please read the terms and condition carefully before making a
submission.
This agreement pertains to all
work/s submitted to the Festivals through Film Festivals Alliance (FFA):
By submitting your film/s or
screenplay or music video or photo/s to the Festivals through Film
Festivals Alliance, you are
agreeing to all TERMS AND CONDITIONS below in full.
1. Submitters are at the age of 18 or above as at the deadline of
submitting the application.
2. Submitters are legally eligible to submit the work/s. Submitters
must have all rights secured before submitting.
3. The competition is open for all.
4. The submitter guarantee that all rights and releases have been
legally secured, including music rights, songs, etc and the
submitter releases the Festival and all its member from any legal
action whatsoever.
5. A. E-mail the Festival, the link to your film.
B. If filmmaker wish to screen his/her film, 2 DVD PAL and 1 (one) blu-ray (optional) or DCP,
must be sent. Mark case and DVD, with the title, length, and
director's name. Please mark your film with "No Commercial Value -
For Cultural Purposes Only" either on the envelope and the shipping
invoices. Although every possible care will be taken with DVDs while
in our possession, however, we cannot accept responsibility for
unforeseen loss, stolen, or damage of entries. Please do not send
originals. Te Festivals do not receive downloads of any kind.
6. All transportation/shipping costs (including customs clearance)
to Jakarta, plus fees for insurance while in transit, must be borne
by the participants (please write: For Cultural Purposes only - Not
for commercial use). The Festival Director reserves the right to
refuse any shipment involving unpaid costs.
7. All submissions should be sent pre-paid.
8. The Festivals will not return your screening and exhibition
copies.
9. All submission fees are non-refundable.
10. All selection committees' and juries' decisions are finals.
11. Only producers or directors can receive the physical awards at
the Awards Ceremonies.
12. Regardless of the Prize and winning status, winning filmmakers
who can't attend the Awards Ceremony, will only
receive laurels.
13. The Festivals have the right to disqualify a winning film for
any reasons, without having to explain the reasons to the submitter.
14. Submission of an entry gives the Festivals and or FFA permission to have
accepted work exhibited, photographed, locally telecast, and
reproduced either in part or whole, for educational or publicity
purposes. Filmmakers can request in writing that their material
should not be used for such purposes after the Festival.
15. The Festivals do not pay any screening fees. Not all winning
films will be screened. The festivals and or FFA have the full right to select
the winning films to be screened.
16. Festivals Directors may deny participation to any film unable to
meet the technical requirements for a public screening of good
quality.
17. Festivals Management and or FFA reserves the right to make changes in the
profile of the Festivals if it becomes necessary to do so due to
circumstances beyond their control.
18. All filmmakers/submitters are expected to keep communications
with Film Festivals Alliance and the Festivals professional and in
good taste. Failure to do so may result in disqualification at any
point in the adjudication process, including the nullification of
Official Selection status or nominations. That stated, the Festivals
and or FFA will only communicate with the person who submitted
his/her film to the Festival/s, and that Festival/s should not be
expected to communicate with any other persons.
19. The submitter/filmmaker also acknowledges that remediation of
any sort will be limited to a refund of their submission fees.
20. The festivals and or FFA have the right to work with any institution and
partner festivals for all kind of cooperation, including joint
events or promotions.
21. The Festivals and or FFA reserve the right to make any necessary changes in
regulations or scheduling.
22. Films could be from any year.
23. All disputes in respect of any matter relating to the Festivals
and or FFA shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
competent courts in North Jakarta. Any dispute arising as a result
of submission to the Festivals and or FFA will have a recourse limited
to the lesser of either the submission fee paid or the cost of
correcting the issue.
By submitting to the Festivals through FFA, submitters/filmmakers:
- indicate that they have read, understand, agree with, and
will comply all of the Terms and Condition above, and accept all of
the terms and conditions herein, in their entirety, without
modification.
- agree to indemnify us and hold us and our employees, owners,
affiliates, and partners harmless from all claims and liability
associated with your participation or entry to the Festival.
