How to Join Film Festivals Alliance:

For now, FFA will only accept members with a marketing plan*.

It means we will promote and blast your festival to our hundreds of thousands of contact list.
The blast will cost USD 750 for Marketing Package 1, USD 1500 for Marketing Package 2, and USD 2750 for Marketing Package 3.

A. If you join the Money Back Guarantee Program, you will get a 40% Discount, and you do not have to pay in advance as it will be charged to your future earning from our platform. The maximum amount is for Marketing Package 1. For credit more than that, must be paid in advance.
B. If you don't join the Money Back Guarantee Program, payment must be made in front and discount will not valid.

Money Back Guarantee Program in Film Festivals Alliance:

1. Once your festival is approved, we will send you the link to the submitted films.
2. If your festival decides to accept the film, we will transfer you USD 60/category by Paypal.
3. Even though your Festival is a free festival or has a lower submission fee, in this program, we will still send you the payment by PayPal with the amount mention in point 2.

Film Festivals Not Joining Money Back Guarantee Programs:

1. Once your registration is approved, we will set a page and payment page in FFA website.
2. FFA will get 17.5% commission of your received fee.

Joint Award Ceremony & Film Conference

1. If your festival does not have an award ceremony or would like to have a different kind of award ceremony for certain part of the year, we have a joint award ceremony and film conference every 4 months in Bali, the best destination in the world 2017 chosen by TripAdvisor readers. FFA is working together with local Balinese Kingdom Palace. It's a combination of Film Festivals, true holiday, unforgettable adventure, master classes, filmmaking opportunity, international connections and Royal Kingdom honors. Filmmakers will pay for the cost, accommodation, food, travel, etc.

2. Every festival organizer (1 person) will be given a complimentary full accommodation, food, etc. for 2 days. If more than 10 participants are coming from your festival for the award ceremony or film conference, the event organizer will provide 1 return airline ticket with a maximum value of USD 1250 for you on top of the accommodation, food, etc. If more than 20 participants are attending, the event organizer will provide you with 2 return airline tickets with a maximum value of USD 2500 and full accommodation, food, tours, etc.

Payment schedule

Payment of your earning will be made 2 times a year. Every June and January.
 

Logo and Link

Logo and links to FFA must be put on the submission page of your festival.

Referral

We will give you a referral number. If you refer filmmakers to submit to our Preferred Festival members, we will give you USD 15/referral. Preferred Festival members mean film festivals that have joined FFA for more than a year with good rapport or Festivals that have excellent standing and outstanding reputation within FFA.

FFA Top Ten Festival Competition:

All of FFA festival members will be eligible for the 2018 FFA Top Ten Most Inspiring Film Festivals Competition. The Top Ten winner will receive Gold Plated Trophy and or Framed certificate during the Award event in July 2018. Accommodation and ticket to main events will be provided for 1 festival director.

Marketing Package 2:
2 email blasts.
2 times article about your festival and winners in the Film Reporter.

Marketing Package 3:
3 exclusive email blasts.
2 shared email blasts.
2 articles about your festival and winners announcement in the Film Reporter.
1 Exclusive Interview with the Festival Director.
1 time worldwide article which will be published in more than 200 hundreds media outlet worldwide.
3 months of front page promotion banner in the Film Reporter.

Film Festivals Alliance - TERMS & CONDITION

Be it known to any submitter, by registering your Festival or Contest to Film Festivals Alliance (FFA), register/submitter agree to all TERMS AND CONDITIONS below in full.

1. The register/submitter guarantees that she has the capacity to act on behalf of the Festival or Contest, and that all rights have been legally secured. The register/submitter releases FFA and all its member from any legal action whatsoever.
2. FFA will have permission to put the register logo, trademarks, trade names, and other photos available publicly associated with register’s Festival or Contest to put on the FFA's website.
3. FFA reserves the right to make changes in the profile if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond his/her control.
4. FFA has the right to disqualify a festival for any reasons, without having to explain the reasons to the register/submitter.
5. All register/submitters are expected to keep communications with FFA in good taste. Failure to do so may result in disqualification at any point in the adjudication process.
6. FFA has the right to work with any institution and partner festivals for all kind of cooperation, including joint events and or promotions.
7. FFA reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations.
8. All disputes in respect of any matter relating to the Film Festivals Alliance shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in North Jakarta. Any dispute arising will have a recourse limited to the cost of correcting the issue.
9. FFA reserves the right to refuse any submission (film/festival/contest), without having the obligation to explain the reason to the submitter.
10. FFA will not be liable to you in respect of any losses arising out of any event or events beyond our reasonable control.
11. FFA will not be liable to you in respect of any business losses, including (without limitation) loss of or damage to profits, income, revenue, use, production, anticipated savings, business, contracts, commercial opportunities or goodwill.
12. FFA will not be liable to you in respect of any loss or corruption of any data, database or software.
Film Festivals Alliance will not be liable to you in respect of any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.
13. FFA may revise these Terms of Service and Use from time-to-time. Revised terms of use will apply to the use of our website from the date of the publication of the revised terms of use on our website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
14. FFA may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and obligations under these terms of use without notifying you or obtaining your consent.
15. Without prejudice to our other rights under these terms of use, if you breach these terms of service and use in any way, or if we reasonably suspect that you have breached these terms of use in any way, we may send you one or more formal warnings, temporarily suspend you from accepting submission for your Festival, or delete your account with the FFA.
16. If you violate these Terms of Service, FFA has the right to terminate or cancel your rights immediately without notice.
17. FFA reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Submission Site, and you agree that Film Festivals Alliance shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site, or any part thereof.

By registering your Festival or Contest, register/submitter:
- agree to indemnify us and hold us and our employees, owners, affiliates, and partners harmless from all claims and liability associated with your participation or entry to FFA.
- agree to receive newsletters from us.
- indicates that you have read, understand, agree with, and will comply all of the Terms and Condition above, and accept all of the terms and conditions herein, in their entirety, without modification.
